Learning Experience Designer | April 2022 to PresentI’ve been responsible for conducting thorough performance needs analysis and developing curricula aimed at adult learners. My role also involved managing website design, utilizing the ADDIE model, and working collaboratively across departments. By applying instructional and adult learning theories, I’ve enhanced learning experiences for a variety of users. In addition, I’ve designed and developed content for four different product teams, serving as the project manager for all learning assets within Jarvis Analytics. This included overseeing curriculum development for onboarding, integration, and ongoing training.

Instructional Designer | Jan 2021 – April 2022I designed and standardized award-winning training materials for sales, service, and customer service teams. I ensured these materials met the needs of both stakeholders and learners. In this role, I also functioned as a learning coach, helping my team build their understanding of pedagogy. Instructional Designer | July 2019 – October 2020I designed and refined curricula for five different programs, leveraging Agile methodology and adult learning theories. These programs covered areas like web development, quality assurance, iOS app development, career services, and user experience design. I also employed innovative tools like Canvas, Storyline, GitHub, and Camtasia to create engaging student materials. Additionally, I mentored program directors on learning design and development tools to enhance their instructional approaches.

Instructional Designer |September 2018 – June 2019I played a key role in revising training materials and developing courses, assessments, graphics, and videos. Collaborating closely with subject matter experts, I translated complex federal regulations into easy-to-understand training modules. I utilized Adobe Suite and Camtasia to create the organization’s first official blended-learning program for MOW employees.

Graduate Research Assistant| August 2017 – September 2019In this role, I designed and conducted user testing and helped refine an online assessment tool for a campus client. I also assisted with university research publications and developed department websites. One of my key projects involved prototyping a new mastery-based assessment item for BYU’s LMS, which was successfully implemented in 2020.

Used time management skills in fast-paced environment to accomplish required tasks each day while also handling the impromptu needs of guests. Sought constant new projects when things were slow to improve the lodge and surrounding vegetation. Provided friendly and helpful customer services including barista, transportation, and advised guests on touristic attractions. Extensive time spent in dialogue with guests, found out their strengths, goals, intersts and needs to increase their enjoyment during their stay at the lodge. I was part of the team when this lodge received the highest customer service rating of any Princess Lodge ever!!

Trailwalker|Jan, 2014 – Apr, 2014Provided examples of correct decision making, honest/open communication, counseled with the clients, and stabilized group dynamics in high stress situations. Helped clients design individual plans for self improvement and self correction while also giving feedback on the best way for them to accomplish their goals. Motivated them to continue ‘Walking Forward Always’ and not give up per company curriculum. Protected, guided, supported, and vastly enjoyed my time with youth and adults in the wilderness rehabilitation program of the ANASAZI Way. Taught wilderness survival, map orienteering, group conflict management, and personal decision making skills. Certified in Wilderness First Aid.

Duties included cleaning, vacuuming with industrial sized vacuums and and cleaning railing, windows, exterior walkways, and all surfaces accessible. I also did events maintenance and ushering for weekly devotionals and special events.
